Frank "Allen" Males III, MA, LPC

I have 10+ years of experience working in the mental health field/helping professions. Through this time I have obtained experience in a variety of settings, and have built a successful private practice focused on addressing mental health concerns. My career in the helping professions began after receiving my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Texas State University in 2011.  After completing my Bachelors degree I continued forward with my educational journey and received my Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2014.  I became fully licensed in the state of Texas as a Professional Counselor in 2017.

Settings I have acquired experience include; partial hospitalization, in-patient programs, out-patient programs, non-profit organizations,  behavioral health hospitals, and in-home treatment. Working in a private practice setting was a calling and started soon after I chose to follow through with pursuing psychology as a major.  I am grateful to experience the materialization of my practice.  I enjoy the work that I am able to do in this setting, and I am honored to be able to guide others through the struggles they are facing.

In closing I believe that engaging in hobbies, self care, and spending time with family and friends are the most important things in life.  You will see in our work together that creating a healthy work/life balance as well as joy in life are essential to what I believe in, and are integrated into the therapeutic approach I provide.

I look forward to learning more about you and what you are seeking to receive from the therapeutic process.
